IMPACT is a Rotterdam based company, founded in 2012, providing policy advice and business solutions in the cross-cutting fields of transport, logistics and spatial-economic policy. Dr. Fatma Saçlı is the founder and manager of IMPACT.

Fatma Saçlı studied political science and public administration (BSc) and urban policy planning and local government (MSc) at the Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey. She worked as scientific researcher in Finland, The Netherlands, Austria and the UK; and acquired her PhD degree in 2011 at Erasmus University Rotterdam with a dissertation on business parks and transport policy.

Besides scientific research, Fatma Saçlı worked in international consultancy projects in Turkey, The Netherlands, Cyprus, and Central & Eastern European countries in the fields of transport, mobility, infrastructure and regional development.

Next to her activities at IMPACT Policy Advice and IMPACT Business Solutions, Dr. Fatma Saçlı works as associate professor of logistics at Windesheim University of Applied Sciences in Zwolle, The Netherlands.

IMPACT Policy Advice provides research based policy advice for the central, regional and local governments, professional organisations, port authorities and management bodies of business parks / logistics clusters / organised industrial zones / techno parks.
